A Translation Assignment

A child who looks one’s father says zikir, tahlil, and tahmid, one will be able to say: Laa ilaaha illallah, Subhanallah, and Allahu akbar easily.

Likewise a child who is accustomed to be ordered by one’s parent to send alm to the poor people secretly at night, one will be certainly different with a child who is ordered to buy either drug or cigarette.

A child who always looks one’s father fasts on both Sunday and Monday, one’s will be certainly different with a child who looks one’s father at the gambling place, cinema, or other places of intertainment.

You will see a child who lisen to adzan repeats singing adzan. And you will see a child sings a song which is always sung by one’s parent.

How so beautiful if a child is always kind to one’s parent by saying prayer and asking forgiveness to Allah for them. Besides, one always asks their conditions, feels comfort when they are together, fulfills their needs, and increases to say prayer by using expression:

Rabbigh firli waliwali dayya

“Our Lord! Cover ( us ) with thy forgiveness me snd my parent.”

Rabbirhamhuma kama robbayani shoghiro

“My Lord! Bestow on them thy mercy even as they cherished me in chilldhood.”

One also makes a devotional visit to the grave of one’s parentgives alm for them, connects bound of friendshipof people who close to them, and gives peoplewho are always given by them.

If a child looks at such good personalities of one’s parent, for the licenseof Allah, one will do what one’s parent have done. One will always ask forgiveness to Allah for them and do what they usually do to one’s grandparent.

A child who is taught by one’s parent to make sholat, one will be certainly different with a chold who is taught to watch movie, music, or soccer.

Actually, if a child looks one’s parent make midnight sholat while crying because of the fearness to Allah and reading the holy Qoran, one will certainly think why does one’s father cry? Why does he make sholat? Why does he choose the cold water for ablution?

Why does he leave his bed and choose to ask his Lord fearfully and hopefully?
All those questions will be always set on the mind of a child. One will always think about it. For the license of Allah, one will finally do what one’s parent have done.

Likewise a daughter who looks her mother always wear veil and close herself from another man, she has been adorned with the embarassed feeling and the attitude to keep respect. Her holines has madde her noble. The child of such mother will certainly learn to set the embarassed feeling, keeping respect, and holiness of her mother.

In the other cases, a daughter who looks her mother always dresses up in front of man, shakes hands, and has contact, laughs, and smiles at the other man, her daughter will certainly do the same.
